Learning cards are a wonderful way to build language, encourage vocabulary development, and increase reading skills. Sign Language in the Early Childhood Classroom includes 44 learning cards (4 1/4"x 5 1/2" each). The set features photographs of a person signing, in American Sign Language, signs for following directions, food and eating, feelings, people and pets, manners, and everyday signs. The set also includes a teacher's guide with descriptions of how to correctly perform each sign and 5 resource cards. These learning cards are a wonderful way to reinforce basic principles, lessons, and skills and support NCTE and NAEYC standards.
